Transit is really a remarkable picture. It takes the Nazi occupation of France, throws it in a time portal to the future, and abuts a tale of assumed identity, mistaken persons, torrid love, and ultimate tragedy amidst a world of refugees and displacement. You'll be hard-pressed to find a film this achingly romantic AND heady in equal measure. This out of time and of the moment.
